Who are you?
My name is Carlos de Andrade. A 29-year-old Brazilian from Paraná, in the south of the country. Always interested in learning new techniques that add to my work.
When did you start making art?
I have been doing art since I was a child. I never stopped being interested in doodling, cutting, editing, painting, etc. I have been working with design for almost 10 years, and I believe this has given me a good technical base to develop.
When did you start making NFTs?
I started in May 2021, not too long ago! Thanks to an invitation from a friend I joined Hicetnunc, and it was for sure one of the best decisions of my life.
What inspires you?
Other artists. I feel inspired to see so many talented people finally being recognized for their work. The idea of being part of a community as rich as Hicetnunc makes me want to constantly improve my pieces and collect more and more work.
Do you have any pieces that stick out to you?
Of my works, I can mention two: THE INTERNET and REARVIEW. The process of both was very enjoyable for me. I was able to do things that I never imagined I would be able to do, and I was extremely satisfied with the results. From my collection, I also mention two pieces that I treasure very much: Gio Mariani’s ‘remorse’ and crudoxvincent’s ‘Campesina’. I love absolutely everything about those two pieces.
What adds value to your art?
It may sound cliché, but I always put a lot of love and dedication to each piece. That’s what I like to do. That’s what I always wanted to do. Art. And if I can still get a few tezos in return? Great!
Are there any artists we should be on the lookout for?
Hicetnunc is a truly infinite vortex of talented people. But among so many, I can mention Jessica Luz , Yung Slice , FORADECOMPASSO , xao777 and Gio Mariani .
What do you have in store as the future comes closer?
Certainly lots of almond milk and some tezos in the wallet.
