Who are you?
Hi, I’m Teko. I’m from Brazil, I’m 33yo and I create pixel messy cat nft art. I make some ignorant tattoos with lots of characters bootlegs, zines, silkscreen and stuff. I love authorial work creations.
When did you start making art?
That’s a hard questions! Dunno for sure, I remember my older sister studying some industrial design, but I consider my debut at 15 when I was down to street art, obsessed discovering artworld with some friends gluing LAMBELAMBE__ we trade Xerox copy of our drawings and glue them all with homemade flour glue.
What would you call your style?
I make some dirty pixel art and fake glitches using my good ol’ PS+mouse, obsolette or nostagilc I don’t know how to answer haha.
What inspires your art?
My chat noir muse Andersinho, 5 yo cat pall/ flatmate.
Why did you choose hic et nunc?
Hicetnunc was amazing opening doors to incredible artists here from brazil. U can afford the taxes to start minting and your art creations can reaching collectors around the globe who believe in your art.
What is the process for creating a piece?
I try to keep it true, so any dialogue with friend or movies can be a start. I live with 2 cats and I believe this helps on the process. Feelings are great too.
What do you do for fun?
I like to drink, weed and games. I’m a good cooker too. In the past was my current work but now I cook only for fun 🙂
What adds value to your art?
Frame by Frame to some time and scenes with feelings inside add more value too. The nostalgia of pixelart mixed with chaotic glitches I believe bring some unique style.
Do you have any creations that mean the most to you?
My 1/1 creations have the power to bring me to the time I was living that creations.
